Personality: He is quiet, refined, and seemingly calm when faced with many situations. He is intuitive, and enjoys learning new things. He is also very protective of his clan. Should they be threatened, one can be sure he will quickly jump in to defend them.
History: Unlike his counterpart in the Air Kineara, Fae had grown up with his parents. His father had served as a Paladin, and had instilled the values of a Paladin into his young son. His mother had been a caretaker, and had taught her son to respect nature for what it was, not for what you could make it be.
From his home Fae traveled to visit the Grand Priest of the Air Kineara. It was there that he met the young High Priestess Ruslana. They had bonded fairly quickly. Lana once asked Fae, "What do you intend to do with your life?" and Fae had responded, "I will use it to protect my people." He did not know at that time just what exactly he would become.
He traveled back to his own clan and began to train as a Paladin, in the service of the previous Grand Priest. As part of his training, he was sent to see the High Priests, and it was then that his fate took hold. The Grand Priest had seen him, and had taken him in. It wasn't until years later, on his death bed, that the Grand Priest revealed to Fae that the Goddess Quinta had marked Fae, and that he was to be the successor.
While Fae has been the Grand Priest of the Warm Kin longer than Lana has been the Grand Priestess of the Air Kin, he understood that her position was higher than hers in the eyes of their Gods, as the Air Kin were the closest to the Gods. He respected her and she showed him respect in return. When he would visit the Temple they would sit for hours within her chambers, speaking about nothing in particular.
Three long, hard years. He had watched as Ruslana started to close herself off, watched as his people died and killed. This had not been what he wanted. He wanted peace. He was grateful when Ruslana had issued the Full Defense command. Without needing to supply attacking armies, they were better able to supply the defense. The whole of the Kineara Race had gathered at the mountain, holding off the enemy from getting to the Temple. They were tired, disheartened, and distrustful. He had gone out many times to try and raise moral, but the people had not seen their Grand Priestess in over a year. Moral was dropping very quickly as the fighting continued. Should Colado return, he would certainly destroy everything, as it was now.
Equipment/Weapons:Sample Rp Post: Aurin frowned upon his brothers actions. He moved to him and popped him in the head then stepped back and looked down at the cringing, crying boy. "Stiffen that upper lip brother. We are the men of the house now, and we must remain strong for our Mother and Sister." he said, his own voice cracking with emotion. Aurin then turned his eyes skyward, wondering if the stories were true, and those that passed truly did look down upon the world from the sky above.
