Personality: She is often thoughtful, yet quick to snap at others should they irritate her. When she is alone she is focusing on her powers, channeling her pent up emotions and attempting to become stronger. While she is quick to snap, it does take quite a bit to irritate her. She is known to daze off quite often, sometimes this is caused by her powers, sometimes it is not. Otherwise, she likes to hold back her feelings so that she can later channel all of her pent up emotions into her power. Due to her history, Arina may often appear emotionless. Emotion was weakness. Or so she had been told by her father. When it comes to improving herself however, she will be ruthless, and will not allow anyone to stand in her way. She refused to show kindness of any form. History: Childhood - Spoiler:
She had watched her friends grow up and find their places among the Silver, and had even seen a few of them die during Death matches, but that did not stop her. She wasn't concerned that her fellows thought they knew what she should be. No, their insistence only irritated her, and fueled her drive to become an Adept, and to pursue becoming a Sensitive. She had always seen the world differently from those around her.
Lone Training - Spoiler:
Sometimes she had wondered if she could truly make it, if she could truly become a Sensitive. But she could not allow doubt to fog her mind. Instead she put all her energy into training herself, into becoming stronger. As the years slowly passed she was beginning to be able to see longer visions from further on in the future, and, with great practice, was able to go further distances from her body for longer amounts of time. She knew she was getting stronger, but she also knew she would never be strong enough.
Broken Heart - Spoiler:
Ari never knew what family was. She knew nothing of the woman who gave birth to her, for she hadn't been around long. Her mother's life was claimed in a death match not long after her birth. The parent she was left with did not care one hoot for her. If her "father" was not downgrading her or yelling at her for no reason, then he was simply ignoring her. She had had a true love at one time, and she had thought maybe this was what it was to be happy, until she found out he had only been using her to get closer to her father.
The Blindfold - Spoiler:
She had a friend who was also a Sensitive. Strong, wise, courageous. He was challenged to a death match... and he lost. With his dying breath he made her promise to wear a blindfold, and to see not with her eyes, but with her heart, with her sixth sense. He said that was why he had failed, because he had relied on his eyes and not his other senses. The cloth that had become her blindfold was the band that he had worn around his neck constantly. It had become a symbol of her promise to him.
First Time Skip - Spoiler:
Three years had passed since Colado was last seen, and she had only grown stronger. She was grateful to have survived, and though it was against her race, she had formed a agreement with the Kineara Faeor. The Kineara backed off on attacking the Silver's, but were brutal should the Silver's attack them. She had become introverted, keeping herself either locked inside of her home, or training within' the Temple. She rarely spoke to anyone. Her Sight had become stronger as well. She saw battles before they happened, saw old friends die before they did. During the first year she would wake up screaming from these visions turned nightmare, but over the next two years she had become used to it. Now she would not scream, she would simply wake up and write it down in a journal she had begun to keep on her person at all times.
