The Temple

"I do not trust you to keep to your word." She walked to him. "If you do not return the boy within 48 hours, then there will be no bargain." her voice was completely serious.

james grinned and begun to walk out getting to the bridge he waited "let it down"

The Priests glance to each other and then begin the Chant. The Chasm Bridge slowly starts to form.

James began to walk back to the city as he Waved for Eragore to follow

Eragore was sitting down leaning against a wall when his companion came strolling back waving for him to follow. "Hey James aren't we suppose to talk with he Grand Priestess why are we leaving did you kill that goody to shoes paladin." Eragore said this with much excitement and hope. He grasped the handle of his axe dangerously. "Lets kill the rest of these softies then."

James kept walking towards the city "mabye another time my freind"

Shadra followed the Grand Priestess into the meeting room. He was lost and confused. But that did not stop his obedience. He felt, obliged to follow this woman.

She led him into a plush meeting room. This was her personal meeting room. The furnishings were all top grade, the decorations all beautiful pieces of artwork, and the window of this room offered the best view of the village. She was standing at the window, as a fire came to life. She watched as two strangers walked away. She could only but hope that the Warm Kin was alright, she did not need Faeor angry with her because she had lost one of his. She then turned to look at her chieftain. "Lost your memory again have you?" there was a light teasing note in her voice, something only those who were close to her got to hear.

He was still lost. I-I-uh. This happens often? He didn't know who the woman was, but obviously she knew him. And he felt, remotely comfortable around her. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a letter. handing it to her. It was about the recent Attack, and the names and Details on various Rogues in the World.

Ruslana reads over the note as she sits in one of the rather comfortable looking chairs near the fireplace, gesturing for him to do the same. "You've a memory condition. You sometimes forget things." she glances up from the note at him then returns to reading.

Shadra's mouth opened up into the shape of an O. He wasn't really suprised, though he felt a little insecure that everybody knows more about him then he does. um, sorry if this is offensive. I'm guessing i've asked this before, but.....who are you? and How well do you know me?

She folds the note and sets it on the table between the chairs. She then looks at him. Though the fire offered only little light in the growing darkness, it was enough to see the lack of sleep she had been suffering from recently. "I am Grand Priestess of the Air Kineara. Closest to our Gods, and youngest Grand Priestess there ever was. But to you, I am simply Lana. As for how well I know you... I simply know enough about you to trust you with my life."

He laughed, feeling slightly more relaxed. And how many times have you recited that speech now. Don't worry, One day i will find a way to cure this. Hopefully. He smiled once again. This was obviously the hope speaking. He looked at the girl. They must have been in a meeting room for a reason. So, why are we here?

"Oh, only a few hundred times." She smiled at him, teasing him again. "And we are in here because it is the most comfortable room in the Temple, beyond my bedroom of course." She then blushed after she'd said that. She had not slept in her own bed for days. She supposed it was simply on her mind. "I wont keep you longer, if you wish to leave." she looked at him.

He smirked at that. And what would i do miss Lana? I don't even know who i am. All i can do is follow orders it would seem. As he finished it hit him. With such a force it knocked him off balance. His necklace changed from a green to a Light blue. His face changing, becoming kinder and much more calm. Well, that was strange. He smiled.

"Ah yes, you're different personalities. Forgot to mention that. Forgive me Shadra, I am tired and feeling rather forgetful myself. If there is anything you would like to know, feel free to ask me." she smiles kindly.

He was confused. I'm a freak? He was shocked to learn he was so...unfortunate. But he wondered why everyone showed so much respect to him. It had him so confused.

She jumped when he called himself a freak. "No! Hardly so! You are my chieftain, and each of your different personalities has special powers. It is an ability of yours that demands respect and admiration." she chuckles softly, offering him a comforting smile.

This confused him further, though he kept his smile going. hmm, warlord. I fight? Why fight when peace brings love? Love was always the answer.

She closes her eyes, thinking over her answer. "The job of the chieftain is about more than just combat, Shadra. I put my trust in you to look after my people where I am not able to. In times of war all orders are passed down through you, but otherwise, you are my direct contact to my people. I cannot be out in the town every day, seeing what is happening, and knowing what needs to happen. That is where you come in." she opens her eyes to smile at him. "I would be nothing without you."

He was delighted to hear he was so relied on I'm glad that i am able to provide assistance to you. He continued to scribble words down on to some paper. Hoping she wouldn't notice, though he wasn't making a big effort to hide it. Well, i must thankyou. For i fear that without you, even though i've only known you for such a small time. I'd feel as though i'd have no identity.

She laughs softly and nods. "No need to thank me, simply helping a friend." She closed her eyes and leaned her head back. "I cannot help but feel ashamed, that I could not do more to protect my people when those rogues attacked."

He seemed kind of distracted when she said that, as if feeling ashamed of something he had done. uh...sorry. But i read the report, i was too curious. Those rogues seemed quite strong. Apparently, from what i saw, he allowed himself to be killed. Thats good. You done all you could. Its okay. His necklace changed from light blue back to green, smoothly this time. No matter how hard we try, there will always be others who will stand in out way. People will always be beaten, but only few admit their defeat, and even fewer ask for help.

Ruslana chuckles at that. "Perhaps, perhaps. But that is a quality all Grand Priests and Priestess' must have: Humility. Our people come first, even before our own lives. One day, my position will go to Rena." her voice softened slightly.

Ah, the future, If only i had one. He smiled weakly. His crystal turning a light blue again. it was changing drastically. Lets just live life in the moment shall we. he stood up. Motioning for her to follow him. How about a stroll?
