The Outlying Areas

Ah, So young yet so powerful! He remembered his tally. He was unsure as to how many years he has lived. After all to be whipped so many times. Each tally wasn't just one unit. It stood for 100. So its not 158. In truth it was 15800. And still counting. This disturbed him. But his mind quickly got distracted as his wings disappeared, holding a half formation required concentration. Damn. Now he looks like a fool.

She giggles and watches him, as she swam to the side of the river and sat on the bank, her legs still dangling in the water as she started to braid her hair. "One must be powerful to be the Grand Priestess. But I still have much to learn." She smiled at the fish that had come to nibble on her toes. She wiggled her toes and giggled when they scattered then slowly came back to investigate.

Shadra Resurfaced. Spitting water from his mouth. Looking at Lana before turning away. His necklace changing to a Light blue once again. Are you hungry? He wasn't really, but he would offer her anyway. He saw some food back at hit secret house. He began to transform. But this time, into a full dragon. The only difference was he was only about 2 foot long. He transformed into a baby dragon. Okay, What did i just do. This wasn't in the notes i've left behind.

She smiles and touches the water. The ripples change and seem to influence the water, bringing him to her. As he floated towards her she put her dress and crown back on then knelt down and scooped the little dragon into her arms. "Another of your powers, oh great one?" she asked, a light teasing not in her voice again. "And yes, I am a little hungry, but allow me." She smiled and tossed him into the air and changed. As he fell he landed on her back and she craned her neck to look back at him. Hold on.

he didn't really like the idea of being small and helpless, but for some reason, he was stuck in this form for now. he just couldn't figure out how to change back. Sigh. He held on. Fortunately her flames had no effect on his Dragon skin. It was actually soothing.

She lifted into the air with a great thrust of her wings. Soon she had them weaving through the clouds, enjoying herself. Every so often she would glance back to ensure Shadra was still on her back. She didn't do any loops, and didn't do any dives. When she reached the clearing she slowly circled downwards until she landed on the ground, not far from the entrance to his secret house.

He jumped off, and as he hit the ground a strange popping sound occured, He had shrunken once again. To about half his old size. okay, this is freaking me out. He began to run around in circles, Trying to wake up from a dream.

She watched him quietly, her tail swaying, her wings folded at her sides. You must calm down and focus, Shadra. Came her gentle urging.

He remained still. Looking up to the Goddess. Suddenly your not so small anymore. He was teasing her playfully. His body stayed the same, not shrinking, nor growing. You said you were hungry. His Little dragon legs pranced towards his home.

She seemed to make a sound that sounded to be a laugh before she jumped in front of him and covered him with her wing. And you seem not to be so big anymore. She held the same teasing note as before. She then lifted her wing and jumped to the entrance, changing back and climbing down the latter, looking back up to see if he had followed.

His little feet were too small to grasp the ladder and he ended up tumbling down into the room. ouch. Once again his little legs prowled forwards. Going into another room, and coming back, dragging a picnic box by his small mouth. damn, everything, is, so, hard!!!! He finally got the box over to the stone table, and with all of his might he managed to fly it up to the table. Though he collapsed on the ground afterwards. just give me a minute

She smiles and kneels down, touching her hand to his chest over his heart. His scales glow where her fingers are touching him and as she pulls her fingers away the glow envelopes him. When it fades he has returned to normal. She sits at the table and begins to investigate the picnic basket.

uh huh. He went and took a seat the the table. sitting opposite of her. Whats in there? He didn't know, It was sitting there ready. he was guessing that it was meant for an occasion such as this. It was still fresh as well. He could tell by the smell.

"Bird food." She said, forcing her voice and expression to remain completely serious as she looked over the contents. There were sandwiches (ham, turkey, beef), some fruits (strawberries, blueberries, a watermelon) a salad (with the option of adding chicken to it) and the ever present sweet desserts (A chocolate cake, strawberry shortcake, and some brownies). Ruslana couldn't help but wonder why there was so much food, for only two people, but she knew she had a good appetite, and she also knew the appetite of a dragon could be..... ferocious.

wh....wh....Bird Food? Are you serious? Shadra began to look around for a pet bird or something. Feeling the usual feeling of confusion. He sniffed at the air. Before realising, and feeling like and idiot. oh.

She giggles and glances up at him. "Neat joke huh?" she knew it likely wasn't a good joke. She was not good at that. She was very bad at talking to people. She started to pull some of the food out of the basket.

He watched the food being brought out. huh, i wonder when i packed this?Rotten yet? He walked over, assisting with unpacking the food. Once finished he grabbed a chicken sandwich before gulping it down in a second. Reaching for another.

She laughs softly and grabs a ham sandwich, taking a bite of it. Once she had swallowed she shook her head. "No, none of it is rotten. We'd be able to smell it if it was." she nodded at her statement.

Him happy mumbling agreed as he grabbed his 4th sandwich. It seems he hadn't eaten today and his animal like appetite was kicking in. He stopped, as though he was about to ask something, but ended up continuing with his food.

Ruslana finished her sandwich and grabs a few strawberries. She noticed he had been about to ask something and looked to him expectantly, popping one of the strawberries into her mouth, making her look momentarily like a normal woman, instead of the high and majestic Grand Priestess.

Suddenly he stood up. Waiting for his food to digest. Before he looked around. Blankly. His eyes were confused. Once he scouted the area, he looked at lana. Tilting his head.

Lana tilts her head in return, puzzled by his actions as she popped a second strawberry into her mouth.

He looked at her strangly. w-w-who are you? Damn, a memory wipe.

Lana sighed softly and popped the third strawberry into her mouth. She then took his hand in hers. Everything that had just occurred between them plays through his mind, hoping to jog his memory.

He just couldn't hold the smile back any more. It shone brightly. Payback is sweet. He took a seat. Eating his Bird food.
