The Blademaster's apprentice

Lana walked close behind Kai, ensuring he kept up a fast pace. She did not want a bigger punishment than they already had coming. When he started to go down a wrong tunnel, she stopped him and pointed him in the right direction. She did not know the tunnels, she only was able to feel the faint trail the presence of their mentor had left. She was following it as closely as her senses would allow. They were approaching their mentor just as the fourth minute passed.

Kai was silent as they walked and was grateful for Ari's guidance. He exited the tunnel near his master, with Ari right behind him. Master. He said with his head bowed. He knew they were in trouble and he knew they had just barely made it in time to avoid a worse punishment.

He scolded, Almost late. Tibodico got off the wall. Drawing his illusion blade and stabbed it into the stone floor below. The terrain suddenly changed to a grassland with Strange Stone walls surrounding them. I shall give you a choice, draw your sword's and weapons and take this as a training spar. Or simply stand there and accept its punishment. Either way you shall both be seeing the reversal chamber once it is through. Tibodico didn't wait for the answer. Rather he appeared behind Kai, kicking him into the opposite wall, before coming back around with a round house crescent kick to Ari's face.

Ari quickly raised her arms and blocked the kick before jumping back. Her heart now pounded in her chest. She had never depended so heavily on her sixth sense. Now she need to focus on it completely and defend herself. She would accept his punishment, but she would also treat this as a spar to make herself stronger.

He was kicked. He knew it was punishment and he knew he was going to fight back. Kai sailed toward the wall and he threw his legs at the wall. He absorbed the impact as he bent his knees. Kai turned as he pushed off the wall and drew his sword. He landed on the ground and charged at his master.

Tibodico appeared behind Ari. With untraceable speeds. Even if she noticed him, it would be impossible for her to react in time as he punched her in the face. The force great enough to send her head flying back. Kai was charging at him, sword drawn. Tibo didn't even draw his sword. He simply raised his left hand. Parrying the attack before getting a nice side kick to his ribs. Strong enough to break bones.

A silver Crusader walked into the area His dark cape danced around his legs as he moved, his eyes staring into each of them back from beneath his dark helm. His walk was not one of arrogance, but one of elegance. Having been trained by his Mother long ago to walk amongst royal courts, his posture was flawless.

As the man entered, his stance changed. From one of arrogance to a assertive stance.. pathetic. How he hated the vile newbies. He glanced at Kai "Everyone in this room has been Summon to the throne room at once" with the word said he left without a whisper.

Ari massaged her neck and wrinkled her nose. She looked to her master. She would follow him if he chose to answer the summons. Her fingers curled around the rope at her waist once more. She waited for what he would say. She knew they would likely finish the punishment afterwards, and she was prepared for that.

Tibodico stopped everything he was doing and made his way to the palace. Who does this guy think he is. Using the term Summoned, Tibo shall kill him later. And why does the Dues require them. God how he hates being told what to do.

Ari decided to take the time her master was distracted to leave. It would not be Kai who ruined his good name, it would be her. And she would not allow that. She attacked Kai's mind momentarily so she could blind him to her intentions. As soon as she was out of seeing distance she started to run. She would need all of her training now, to get away from this place.

Her quick movements quickly took her out of the Silver Kingdom and into the place that had once been an abandoned city.
