Arina walks into the temple, skillfully making her way through the tunnels. She could only find the training room, otherwise she would find herself lost in here. She had a good memory, and so she had remembered which tunnels to take after Tibo had led her before. Now she had taken those tunnels so many times, it was almost habit.

~Time skip, three years~

She walked into the room and to her mat. As she sat she was already putting the cloth over her eyes once more. But she couldn't focus. The vision she had had before she woke was filling her mind.

A little white mink walked over and curled in her lap, looking up at her. What bothers you? It asked her.

"Oh Chiku.. I had another vision." She replies. She had become used to the mink's thoughts in her mind. He had been with her for many years now. Chiku had belonged to her mother. She had often wondered at the creatures unnaturally long life, but she didn't ask about it.

Chiku nuzzled her hand and she started to pet him. What was it of this time? Violence? Another death?

She shook her head. "Neither. It was of the Kineara, Faeor, and a very beautiful woman. She looks like a Goddess. She was standing by Faeor, but she looked very tired, and very sad. Faeor was saying something to her, but it was as though she could not hear him. I couldn't see what she was looking at, but I know it was something terrible. I can't help but feel like I'm supposed to be there.." her voice trailed off.

Chiku looked up at her. You're probably right. You're mother said to always believe the visions of a Sensitive, and to always trust their feelings. You shouldn't doubt yourself. You are very strong, and each of your visions have proven themselves true. When have your feelings ever been wrong?

She frowned softly. Chiku rarely spoke of her mother, but she also did not ask about her mother. She tilts her head slightly. Her visions had all come true. The bloody, violent, deadly nightmares that had woken her so many nights. Her feelings had never once been wrong. She sighed softly and nodded. "Yes, of course Chiku."

Chiku had become her friend and adviser in place of her Mentor, whom she had seen very little of.

Chiku remained her her lap, curled there. She thought about the vision. Who was that woman? The power around the woman was greater than Faeor's, but she was not quite a Goddess. She sighed softly. Looking down at Chiku she wondered about something. It was said the Kin could transform into a certain animal any time they wanted, and they had unnaturally long lives. She couldn't stop the question from coming out. "Chiku, are you a Kin?"

Chiku lifted his head and looked up at her. Yes.

She blinked. "But, the Kin and the Silver.."

Chiku nodded. But your mother was always different, as you are. She did not care for the tension between the Kin and the Silver. She and I were friends. Very good friends. Someone found out about me, and instead of going to the Hand or Dues Lord, challenged your mother to a death match. You're father was disgraced that his wife had befriended and even hid a Kineara, and his disgrace only deepened when she died in the death match. I, however, promised your mother I would look after you in her stead. She knew she would not survive the match.

Ari gritted her teeth. "If you promised to look after me, then why did you never come to me when my father was being cruel?" she asked.

Chiku shook his small head. Your father would have sent people after me, had he known I still live. And if I had, he would have been even crueler to you, perhaps locking you away, where you could cause him no more disgrace.

Arina was shocked by the tears slipping down her cheeks. She had known her father was cruel.. but this... She didn't know if the tears were from sadness or anger, or even both.

Tibodico's voice conscious was clearly present at the time. Though he made no move to communicate as he had originally planned to. Rather he just sent an image of his location and time in which he will return, he was obviously aware of the conversation that had taken place, but ignored it. As it was not of his concern.
